Second month milestones of your baby

By this time, caring for your baby must have become exhausting for you. Parental payoffs are sleepless nights. But you are paid by your baby’s smile. After all, your baby is two months old.

You will have a tough and dirty time. There will be many through ups and many motions. But you will be rewarded with one of the best things in the world – your baby’s first toothless smile.

There are developments which are two months markers which includes laughter, cooing and new playtime. You will enjoy playing with him. Your baby will now start recognising you and will respond to you. He will know who you are and when he sees your face or hears you, he will respond you with a big smile. You will feel as if he is saying “hi mama”. He will have a better vision and can turn his face to the direction he is called from.

If you could look inside your baby’s head, you could see a lot of development. His gray matter is at a gigantic growth. He starts eye and hand coordination and starts recognising objects. He will play with his fingers and toes and will start playing with yours too. This will be the first milestone achieved during this month. He will get familiar to his environment and become sensitive to changed around him. He will know whether he is in his house or someone else’s. This also means that he becomes particular about who can cuddle him and who can pick him.

Along with the mental growth, there is a lot of physical growth too. He masters a lot of physical skills. He can bear some weight; he will try to stand on your lap and pushes down. He can move his arm is satisfaction of a bye bye. Your baby has great moves by now.
